I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.
Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.
If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

You never finished getting help from that Staff member
http://www.geekstogo...h...30&start=30
You are supposed to stay with it till you are cleared from malware. I suggest you return to that topic

Have you tried re-installing FireFox ?
Lets try a few things
Download Security Check from here or here.
Download TFC to your desktop
Lets try a few things
Download Security Check from here or here.
- Save it to your Desktop.
- Double click SecurityCheck.exe and follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
- A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.
Download TFC to your desktop
- Open the file and close any other windows.
- It will close all programs itself when run, make sure to let it run uninterrupted.
- Click the Start button to begin the process. The program should not take long to finish its job
- Once its finished it should reboot your machine, if not, do this yourself to ensure a complete clean

Are you running the firewall part of McAfee Security Centre ? I'd imagine you are, if so it could be conflicting with windows firewall
Try the instructions here to turn off Windows firewall
http://windows.micro...ewall-on-or-off
Also did you run TFC and have you tried re-installing Firefox
