A friend of mine doesn't like change, she recent bought a new Dell, it running Vista. But she hates it, want me to wipe it and install XP home on it.. Which I could, But before doing that, I had a crazy thought, why couldn't I customize Vista's Deskyop to look like XP.. Can it be done

right click on the start menu and choose properties, then choose classic start menu....that should set most of it to look like XP

Classic Start Menu.
Turn off User Account Control.
Set Vista theme to Windows Classic.
Turn off Vista sidebar and all the other fancy stuff that Microsoft though was a good idea but is a proverbial pain in the behind to work with.
That's 95% of the way to an XP machine.
