This is my first post, I did a search on winjpg.jpg and found some other people with similar problems, but they were all slightly different. The system restore tab is gone and when I try to access regedit, msconfig, or task manager it gives me a "Can not find script file "C:\windows\system32\winjpg.jpg". I use Kaspersky 2010, and it seems to recognize and a worm and delete it, but it keeps coming back. I am afraid to plug in my ext HDD and flash disk since this happened (i suspect one of them was the culprit).

I followed the geekstogo's malware-spyware cleaning guide with no luck. several restarts and still nothing. I use windows xp professional. Please help me.
