I have Seagate IDE HDD 80gb. Windows xp pro sp3 is installed on c:\ drive. I am facing a big problem regarding my HDD. When i turn on my pc, my pc doesn't detect HDD and my monitor led is flashing (continue on/off). I have to turn off & restart my pc 7-10 times and sometime more, then, my HDD is detected and Windows Xp starts. what to do? I have already formatted my c drive..and installed fresh windows xp sp3..i have scanned my whole computer by latest antivirus, there is no virus..Eeverything is ok, motherboard, cpu fan is running. plz suggest solution..

Is this a HDD problem..What kind of problem?

(I am facing this problem after i've attached an another infected hdd to my pc for data transfer.... now i have removed that another infected hdd..)
