Hey,

Every time I start my computer I get the "blue screen of death", right after the intro music plays. I looked in to what may have caused the problem and found out it could have been caused by a currupted driver from a recently installed program. Well right before this happened I had downloaded and installed AVG 8.5 because I was trying to get rid of a trojan horse(TR/PSW.kates.C). When I restarted my computer after prompted to do so, I was greeted with what I found out to be known as the "blue screen of death".

So of course the first thing I tried was to uninstall AVG, but that did't work. Still got the same blue screen.
Now I am only able to boot the computer in either safe mode, or using the "Last known configuration" option.

I was wondering if there was anyway to set the computer to use the last known configuration, without having to press F8 every time during start up.

Thanks
