CD Drive not Recognizing Discs for Windows

First my CD drive wasn't even working, but Broni from here solved that problem very nicely. I kiss his nose and toes for that!

Now most of the time I put a CD in the drive it comes up and says (I copied this) "Windows cannot read from this disc. The disc may be corrupted, or it could be a format that is not compatible with Windows"

This happens with a simple PDF file and even a Microsoft disc itself.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanka to all who help here! Pennie77
