Hi, please can somebody help me on this problem. I've currently installed a new Window XP-7 in my laptop HP 550. I can't get a clear picture or good display on the screen at the moment. I've checked on device manager and there is yellow marks which shows VIDEO CONTROLLER (VGA COMPATIBLE) and VIDEO CONTROLLER are things which are missing.
Also the screen is not fit the whole display. I've tried to check into settings but there is no option to increase the size of the screen. Please help me.

There are no Win7 drivers listed for you laptop on the HP site that I can find. Vista drivers can be found HERE and may work for Win7 (no guarantees). You might have to search Google to see what other people are doing for this issue.
