About a week ago my computer started redirecting me to different sites. I would be on google and click on something and then it would direct me to a completely different site. I purchased a virus scanner but it displays an error and will not scan. I tried to run spybot search and destroy but an error pops up stating, "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access." Now, my internet is not working at all. Can someone help me solve this problem?

Follow the steps here: http://www.geekstogo...uide-t2852.html
Then post the logs asked for in the Malware Forum here: http://www.geekstogo...emoval-f37.html
If some programs don't run or you have other problems with them, tell about it when posting your logs.

If a malware tech has declared you clean, then you can come back here if any problems persist. Thank you!
