I have been having a lot of trouble with IE8 in terms of pulling up web pages. Even Yahoo and Google freeze up on me all the time and I can't close them except when I go into control-alt-delete and purge them there.

Every time I pull up a page, even if it is email, I get an error message that states that the pages are "done but with errors" and then the page freezes and I can't do anything.

I tried to go into the no add-on IE8 but that didn't work either.

this happens all the time on all web pages.

if anyone can be of any help I would appreciate it.

thank you.

1: You can try to uninstall IE 8.0 in add/remove programs. This will roll you back to IE 7.0 or IE 6.0

2: Try to install Google Chrome and see if you still have these problems.

Do you have McAfee Site Advisor installed? Some users with similar problems have fixed them by uninstalling and reinstalling this program. If that doesn't solve your problem, go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737 and click "Fix this Problem" to reset your IE 8 settings. Also, you might want to check this guide to troubleshooting IE problems in Vista and XP - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936215

If you don't find a solution from any of these suggestions, try posting your issue in the Microsoft Answers Internet Explorer forums - http://social.answer...xplorer/threads

I hope you can remedy this sooner than later.
