Hello,

I dont know much about computers except maybe how to type and play cards and with my lack of knowledge have deleted the audio driver from my laptop.

In Device Manager under other devices - Audio device under high definition audio bus has a yellow question mark next to it and it says This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)

To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.
the computer cannot find the software to do this.........HELP??

And also I dont know where or how to retrieve my internet ICON can you help with this also?

Please state make and model of your laptop. There is usually a tag on the bottom of the laptop where you can find this information. You can download the correct drivers from the makers website and then install the drivers by double clicking on the downloaded file.

When you say retrieving your internet icon, do you mean putting it back on the desktop? Do you have a link for Internet Explorer in your start menu? If so, then find where the IE exe file is and make a shortcut on your desktop to it. IE is found in C>Program Files>Internet Explorer in XP. It is called iexplore.exe. Right click on your desktop, click on NEW, then shortcut, then browse down to the iexplore exe and click on it. After getting the shortcut on the desktop i usually rename it to IE for a short name.
