Hi I'm a little computer illiterate, so I am hoping someone can help me.

I was initially using IE for the longest time, and then something started occuring, like my browser would just freeze. This often happens after half an hour of browsing the internet. (and usually when I am on Facebook stalking my friends and browsing at their photos).

Initially I thought I might have spyware/malware/virus on the computer, so I did a really BIG clean as per instructions on this website. I chucked out all the bad stuff, and even downloaded Firefox to use instead of IE.

But the same thing happens, FF just freezes after half an hour. Once I restart the computer its fine to use again, but once my half hour is up, the same thing occurs.

Very frustrated and obviously cannot keep restarting my poor laptop. Can anyone help?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop, Windows Vista... I don't know what other information to give.
