Hello,

I recently tried to get my computer to recognise Chinese language input and downloaded the relevant language packs from Microsoft. This worked fine and I can now input using the language bar on Office XP programs.

The problem is that now every time I open any Office XP program, the following installer windows pop up:

1) "Preparing to install..."
2) "Please wait while Windows configures Office XP Professional with Frontpage..."

And then a third window pops up looking for PROPLUS.MSI and asking for the Office XP CD. When it fails to locate this file, I shut down the installation windows and Word runs as normal.

I've tried the solutions on the forums and on the MS support site but they don't work. It's not a big problem, just very annoying that I have to deal with the installation windows every time I start up an Office program! Can anyone help?

Thanks, but I can't find the CD and also I've been diligently deleting my temp files to free up hard disk space :tazz:
