My laptop has completely died. The power jack has stopped working and the laptop can't get any power to it. I already had this fixed (for a hefty fee) but it's happened again. I plan on getting a new laptop. Is their anyway of transferring data from a dead laptop to a new one?

Thanks

Yep purchase an external 2.5 hd enclosure for the correct hd connection your laptop has.
Make sure you have a usb connection you can connect to on new laptop.
Copy data from old to new.
Format old drive and you can use it for storage then.
