I would be really happy if someone can figure this out.
I personally think it's a characteristic of this ACER.
We, here, have grown a dislike for this ACER, but we
spent good money on it and want to use it.

I have the hijack this log file in this text as instructed .
I hand carried it to this Internet PC on a floppy.
When I run Hijack and ask for a log file, I have
to disable McAfee virus first.

Anyway, here's the problem. The text "C:\WINNT\system32\xvwizard32.hta" appears from bootup on.
It appears in a button on taskbar. I don't even know if it's
harmful. After booting, it can be closed.

A second problem is when we try to run about 1/2 our programs.
We get the message (I zipped and trying to attach to you).
Basically, "config.nt..system file not suitable 16 bit..Windows..
Choose close to terminate...".
A guy I work with downloaded from Microsoft Article ID # 324767
..seems to address this but doesn't work. no cigar.
This PC, the ACER doesn't run 1/2 the programs that run on all other PC's here. We used to have W2K on it and strangly, same prob.

can you help ?
