I had to move so I packed my Cintre Z Disc External Storage and it stayed in storage about 2 months and now that I unpacked it, it won't boot up. I hear the computer recognizing a device but the drive just makes these prrrm, prrm, prrrm sounds and the blue light blinks about every half second.

Any ideas on what to do?

Hello Lico Solo & Welcome to GTG

Does the device show in My Computer ?

Also Check Device Manager for Issue's

Click Start > Right click " My Computer " Select Properties , Click " Hardware " Tab then click Device Manager button

Check for any Visable Red / Yellow Exclaimation (!) Mark's

Best of luck !

I am thinking that maybe I have the wrong power supply. Could it be the problem?
