I have a eMachines W3650 Desktop Computer
Intel® Celeron® 440 processor with 64-bit technology
(512 KB cache, 2.00 Ghz,800 MHz FSB)

ECS 945GCT-M3 Motherboard
Processor Support:
Intel® Prescott, Tejas, and Conroe processors
Core Speed/Host Bus Speed 533 MT/s or 800 MT/s
LGA775 pins socket

Chipset
Intel 945GC
FW82801GB (ICH7) chipset
NG82945GC (GMCH) chipset

I want to get it up to at lease 2.4GHz. I found this.
Intel® Celeron® Processor E1600 (512K Cache, 2.40 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
Every thing the same but for two things, # of Cores and Embedded.
I don’t know what it is or means , so would it work or does anyone know a Processor that would.

You're not going to get an E1600 in there.
Ignore the physical clock speed, it doesn't mean anything these days.
There's not a lot of room for upgrade ability CPU wise with that board because of it's age, but that may be a blessing because it's looking as if the processors that that board supports aren't available any longer. You'd need a new board in that case which would in itself substantially increase the range of processors you can put in them.
