System will not boot, receive error with IE (Windows XP)

I can only boot into Safe Mode.

On advice of friend, I've tried following instructions on your website to remove viruses. Got through first few steps, but couldn't install MBAM software. Tried a number of times, but each time I get the following error with respect to all language files, rules.ref, mbam.exe, mbamswissarmy.sys, et al:

"An error occurred while trying to copy a file: The source file is corrupted."

I posted this a few days ago - no response for 3 days.
