Since I upgraded to Easyshare v.8.0.0.43 2 months ago I haven't been able to burn a CD with my Desktop/XP ot Laptop/Vista. I've done online chat with Kodak 3x, did everything they suggest, still fails. When attempting to burn disc, I get message' A problem has occured while writing the disc. Please try again by inserting a new recordable disc and selecting a lower speed'. I believe Kodak is keeping people from burning disc's so they can order disc's from them. Any suggestions, anyone have same problem?

Not sure about this for vista. Had a similar problem with XP until I selected the burner, properties, ticked the box enable cd writing on this drive.

Have you tried.
restore computer before new ver. download.
reinstal old ver.
Check to see if you have the correct ver. installed on the 2 machines, as it looks like xp and vista are different.
