clicking URL in Word document doesn't work

When I click a URL on a Word document, I am not led to the Mozilla web browser, but instead get this message:

"Unable to open [URL]. Cannot locate the internet server or proxy server."

What can I do? Please help.

Open up the hyperlink and make sure it is a proper URL link. If none there, you will have to type the link in or copy/paste one.
