windows freezes, norton goes...

hi all!

recently ive been getting this program and its really been bugging me. sometime, my computer randomly freezes and i cant do anything. i thne do cntrl+alt+del and select end process. my desktop then refresh and my norton 2005 icon in the sytem tray goes away as well as many other icons. This mainly happens with folders...

please
