First off thanks to all in advance, this forum is just great and i have never posted before, always lurked as a guest.

I have an HP dv9000 laptop. All it had is the nortonAV that came with it. It was expired also. I was downloading a few movies. The power went off and I connected the power supply and try to restart. Now it won't start at all. Does not even get to the CMOS. Just a dead black screen. Even the HDD is not reading.

Is there a chance a trojan attacked the startup? If so PLEASE advise me on what steps i need to take. The laptop was refurb and has no warranty any more :). PLZ PLZ help me guys.

thank you!
