Ok, guys. Time to laugh at the idiot.

If this is on the wrong forum, please move.

I do not know if this pertains to Microsoft Picture It or the camera wizard since both are on the computer. When you plug a camera into the computer, a program opens and gives you a set of options; download, copy, copy to CD, etc. Mine has stopped doing that. Can anybody tell me why and how do I get it back?

Wish I could be more specific as to the problem but that is basically it. Nothing happens when you plug in the camera. I can find the program, buried deep in the Microsoft shared file of the programs file. It just doesn't work.

Thanks, guys.

Common cause many times is use of a Registry Cleaner which has removed the Registry keys needed to find the associated files.

Computer was my fathers. Found out problem was combination of several, and I mean a screen full, of security and tweek programs, and SP3 update. He got tired of me trying to work on it and took it to a repair shop. They said they have seen this many times due to SP3 and were wondering how it even came on with all security on it.

Thanks for help.

You're welcome. SP3 gave lots of people headaches. I opted never to install it.

Am in another forum with RShaffer trying to find SP3 and uninstall it. It shows installed when I open systems folder but we can not find it to uninstall it.

This one was resolved. My fathers computer. Took it to repair shop. Was letting the Major know. Other two are mine. I'm beginning to think my two are related.

Thank you for being observant and for your patience.
