another security tool infection

my computer is infected with security tool. It is being very difficult- won't let me into task manager, can't boot into safe mode. I have downloaded mbam.exe but it won't let me run it or anything like it. I have also downloaded the exehelper and OTL.exe and the tbird.bat but all of them flash the black box quickly and then disappear- I am getting really annoyed... can anyone help?? Thanks
