free DVD burner similar to Nero that's not buggy?

I've just about had it with DVD Flick. Almost every other movie I try to burn comes up with some sort of error message (e.g.doesn't have access to c:\program files\dvd flick\delaycut\delaycut.exe), and I would like to find another program similar to Nero yet free. I've looked at the free software thread, but it's so old and outdated, that the stuff on there has become pay programs or shareware. I've even went as far as to clean up my whole system and reinstall Windows. Still getting error messages. Any help would be greatly appreciated..
