I have windows xp and have been recently experiencing weird things on my pc, so i scanned it with avg, and it said there was 1 infection: a trojan

well i tried to delete it, but no sucess. my computer randomly disables and mouse/keyboard input, (due to the virus)

another thing, i tried to install super antispyware, adaware and malware remover but no sucess. WHenever i try to open any of these programs, it says "you may not have the permissions to access this file" or something like that. But all other programs seem to work.

what can i do?

edit: also, i tried to restore to an earlier time, it says ok, then restarts and i get a message saying the restore failed

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post an OTListIt log in THAT forum.
