I get football games on my PC via the Internet and bought a cable from the USB slot to my TV video-in slot. A digital to analog connection. Is there a converter/adapter I can buy to make this work?

Hi praglen,

Could you please be a bit more specific on what you're trying to do?
If I understand you correctly, you want to watch the football games on the computer, on the TV.

Could you post your system specs please?

Football games, YouTube videos, clips(both audio and video) doesn't matter.
I have Windows XP and three browsers - IE,Firefox and Chrome.

Hi,
The reason why I wanted your specs was to see what particular graphics card and motherboard you have.

If your graphics card has an S Video port you could get a cable to connect that to your TV.
f your TV doesn't have S Video you could get an Svideo to RCA adaptor.
If you have HDMI you could use a DVI to HDMI adaptor.

My PC does have an S-video port and the cable attaches to the port at one end. The other end is a IN Video port. Since it's an older TV(not slimline) I have no idea whether it has an S video. I can check next week and bring my instruction booklet to the shop to see whether it's an S Video or not. If I get an S video to RCA adaptor, will the caBLE I have with the single male prong fit into one end of the adaptor and the adaptor's other end prong fit into the TV port? Where can I order the adaptor(just by the description you gave me)? Will I need software or just the cable?

Look for this cable:

I cannot really say if your TV or graphics card will suit this cable, but it should.

It does look like that, minus the red and white(audio cable), because I can get the sound from my PC...

Yes, the S Video to Yellow RCA plug would be all you would need for video to the TV.
