There are two applications (mrt.exe and mrtstub.exe)in my D drive. I did a search and found out that both applications are "Malicious Software Removal Tool".

1. How do i check if this two applications is Malicious Software Remove Tool? (i find it suspicious because i dont know how it end up in my D drive) Did try checking under properties in "Detail" tab but didn't mention its from Microsoft.
2. Should/could i remove it? or is it necessary to install it?
