I was infected by some viruses and trojans on my laptop pc today while surfing the net and I decided to remove them with Mbam. I ran Mbam and detected 26 infections which I clicked to remove and on restart, My system did not go past the Windows screen with the green loading bar, flashed an error report screen and went to the Safe mode selection screen with different safe mode options with the 29 seconds count down timer until windows start. I selected last Known Good Configuration and it went to Windows Xp screen with the loading green bars for a second, flashes an error report, and then back to the safe mode options selection screen.

I tried to start it in safe mode but it will not start safe mode. It just shows the multidisk partition.......... scrolling screen for a second, flashes the error report, and goes back to the safe mode options selection screen. At this point the seconds until Windows start count down timer counts to zero and the procees repeats its self. I have always used Mbam to remove infections without problems. I use Windows Xp OS. Please help.

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
