It seems that every time I turn on my computer, I get the Windows Update message and it loads Update Windows XP (KB967715) update 1 of 1. Is there a way to repair this? Thanks.

You can go HERE to Microsoft's support page and download just this update by itself. See if it will install correctly then.
If not you may have to go into Add\Remove programs and remove this update.
Then install it again.
If this still does not fix the issue then go to Windows Update page and get all critical updates.
Once that has shown up there should be a list of updates.
Find this update and unclick it.
A new window should come up where it will ask to not add this update in the future.
Agree and that should fix your problem.
