We got this laptop brand new at the start of the year.
I went to turn it on the other day, it turned on and came up with a screen saying windows won't work and it did a scan and restarted it's self.
When it turned back on another screen came up saying that something happened to the laptop and either start it up normally or in safe mode.
I started it up normally it loaded like it does and right before the log in page comes up this blank black screen comes up and it just stays like that.
I've tried it in safe mode didn't work.
Tried it with only the battery in didn't work.
Only power cord didn't work.
Both didn't work.

So I actually don't know what to do?
Im not good with computers so hopefully use have enough infomation to help me out.

Thank you.

I would think you should call the shop first but I am sure they will say to call Dell.
Call Dell.
Take advantage of the warranty since you have it before you can't.

The backup of files is going to be the hard part.
What you would need to do is to purchase a external 2.5 inch hd enclosure.
Take the hd out of the laptop and put it in the enclosure.
Then hook the enclosure up to either another laptop or a desktop system. Backup all your data and then put the hd back into the laptop and have them fix it from there.
