Ok where to start... This problems just started recently. Im on the computer now and its fine but when I decide to run any programs it will freeze up. When I would load up a game it would freeze up and then show a black screen. I tired scanning disk for errors and defragment but it froze on both of them. I tired restoring to factory default but it keeps freezing before I select it. Also tried running virus scan in safe mnode and it froze there too. Sounds like a hardware problem then but not sure. Any words on this situation??

It does sound like hardware. Have you run any diagnostics yet? Hard drive diagnostics? Memory (RAM) diagnostic?
