So I just set up a new pc with xp pro, and I keep getting the BSOD. It seems to happen when I am doing things like resizing windows using drop-down menus. All of the sudden, the mouse will get stuck and only move left to right. After about 20 seconds, I get the BSOD with the characters all messsed up, so I cant read what it says or figure out what is goin on.

Here is my setup:
Asus A8V Deluxe
Athlon 64 3200+
Thermalright XP-90 HS w/ 92mm thermaltake fan and Arctic Silver 5.
1G Corsair TwinX PC3200 RAM
Radeon 9800
2 Maxtor DiamondMax 9 80G (Raid 0)
XP Pro w/ SP2

The CPU stays below 40C when this is happening, So I'm pretty sure its not overheating, but I have no idea where to go from here. Also, the events viewer doesnt seem to help.
