Let's deal with the first one:

You have the latest version of VX2. Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

What error did you get? Something similar like:

If so, open l2mfix.bat again and choose option 5 for Fix autoexec.nt/cmd.exe error by pressing 5 and click enter.

When done, choose 4 for Merge Winlogon Notify defaults by pressing 4 and click enter

Then choose 1 for Run Find Log and post that new log here.

Don't use 2 for the moment!! Only when I tell you to.

Ok -- we restored this,

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

I'll be back much later, because it's night here and I need my bed.
So we are going to work further with your new hijackthislog and I'll tell you new steps to perform when I'm back online.

Hello,

It's better to print out the next instructions or save them in notepad, because you also have to work in safe mode without internetconnection, so this page wouldn't be available then.
It is also important you don't miss a step!!

* Download and install CCleaner
Do not use it yet.

Download CWShredder. Start CWShredder and click FIX

* Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

We also need to disable your Microsoft AntiSpyware Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes.

Open Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Click on Tools, Settings.
In the left pane, click on Real-time Protection.
Under Startup Options uncheck: Enable the Microsoft AntiSpyware Security Agents on startup (recommended).
Under Real-time spyware threat protection uncheck: Enable real-time spyware threat protection (recommended).
After you uncheck these, click on the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Right click on the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware.

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

* Reboot into Safe Mode`:
°To get into the Safe mode as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

* Reboot your system back to normal mode.

Download FindQoologic.zip save it to your Desktop.

Extract (unzip) the files inside into their own folder called FindQoologic.
Open the FindQoologic folder. Preferable to your desktop.
Locate and double-click the Find-Qoologic.bat file to run it.
Wait until a text opens.
Post this in your next reply with a fresh HijackThis log and I'll take another look.

i think i did everything to plan, i got an error on the find-qoologic2 file, the error when i opened it was "C:\docume-1\william\local-1\temp\activesetup.vbs" after the error, the log posted that is below. i did not find any of the files you listed below in windows explorer: i think i did everything to plan,

It is possible that you couldn't find those files, but I always let people doublecheck.
Did you perform this step I asked you before? To make sure your hidden files and folders are visible?

* Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

If not, search for those files again.

Then, open notepad and copy and paste next content in the field in it:
(do not forget to copy and paste REGEDIT4 in it!)

Save this as fix.reg , choose to save as *all files and place it on your desktop. Now doubleclick on it and when it asks you if you want to add the contents to the registry, click yes/ok

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [py7oprzv] C:\Program Files\py7oprzv\py7oprzv.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Client Update] C:\WINDOWS\wup.exe

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

I think ?ttrib.exe is still present, so let's check again:

Open notepad, copy and paste next content (bold) in it:

dir C:\WINDOWS\system32\?ttrib.exe /a h > files.txt
notepad files.txt

Save this as look.bat ,choose to save as *all files and save it to your desktop.
Doubleclick on it and notepad will open with some text in it.
Copy and paste this in your next reply.
