PCIE slot not working

ok i have a gateway gt5220 i had an nividia 8800gt installed in the pcie slot every thing was working fine till i set it to run 2 monitors...i shut down the pc with both still on and now the pcie slot wount read....the cards i have.

i did a go back to a later date nothin...full restore and nothin...i installed another card did not read it...checked the bios restore that to factory nuthin..

The slot gets power cuz the fans turn on both cards and help would be nice thax
