audio challenges

Ican go into the various area and test the speakers and the sound is excellent. However, there are several instances of not being able to hear various items received thru the internet ie email etc. Other instances I am able todo so. Therefore, I am thinking there is some setting that i am missing or have failed to ck. An example is Boomer Alley. The video shows perfectly but no sound. Cking the speakers and the audio settings on the comp. does not show anything turned off.

Would anyone like to tell me what I have missed in my checks???
