I recently moved and in my new location there are 3 internet connections hardwired. I have hooked up computers at each connection but only one of my computers is currently able to connect to the internet. The two that are unable to connect indicate that a cable is unplugged but I have plugged in the cables. I am able to connect to the internet at these locations using a laptop. Both of these computers are Dells and are only about a year old -- what the heck is going on???

so if you take the laptop around and plug in to each of the 3 connections you can connect at all 3 with no problems...but the desktops don't connect no matter which connection you plug into in the wall?
