What do you mean?
You can't have just one drive listed, or you're saying, you have C drive - your hard drive and D drive - your CD/DVD drive?

Download, and install Everest: http://www.majorgeek...wnload4181.html
Open it.
In left pane expand Computer folder.
Click once on Summary
In upper menu, go Report>Quick Report-Summary
Save it in text file, and paste it in your next post.
Don't include anything under the line Debug - PCI

So, you have two optical drives CDRW and DVDRW.
Go back to Windows Explorer
Under My Computer, you should see C drive (your hard drive) and two other capital letters (probably D and E) for your optical drives.
Can you see them?

OK, so in your laptop, you have your hard drive © and:
Optical Drive HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA Device , which is your DVD drive (probably D).

Can you see both letter in Windows Explorer?

Put any CD/DVD in.
Then in Windows Explorer click on D drive.
Do you see any files listed in right pane?

Yes, it brought up ALL of the songs listed on the CD. I clicked on play though and I can't get anything to play.

It also says the songs are being opened by Windows Media Player if that helps you any.
