Hi,

I am using a Sony VAIO Vista OS.
Recently, I encountered this problem :

1. Wireless adapter is enabled but no wireless internet connection.
2. The wireless light IS NOT 'ON'
3. Despite ENABLED the wireless adapter, it still does not connect
4. After I restart, there is internet connection but only lasted few minutes before it is OFF and wireless adapter becomes DISABLED and the light is OFF

How can I resolve this issue ?

Thank You.

Rgds,
Dino

MOST laptops have a hardware switch somewhere on them to turn the wireless on and off....have you ensured that the switch is on? sometimes it's a physical switch and sometimes there's a key combo on the keyboard (usually the FN key and one of the F keys that has a picture of a radio tower on it)

try reinstalling your chipset drivers first...reboot...
if that doesn't solve the problem.. try reinstall your wireless drivers ...get them from the manufactures website...support section
