when I turned on my pc this morning a screen came up saying (in blue)
Boot Device Not Found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk.
Hard Disck (3FO)
(in white)
F2 System Diagnosis
For more information, please visit: www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup

In the system diagnostics
F1 System info
F2 Start-up test
F3 Run-in test
F4 Hard disk test

F11 error log
ESC Exit
and once again please visit the hp site

I have tried the start up test, run-in test and hard disk test
the only one that came back as something was the hard disk not exist.
Not sure what to do, this is a fairly new pc I got it in april 2009 and have had no problems. Everthing is factory installed so no cd's came with it. It will not let me go any further than these pages.
thanks Rena

Call HP. It's still under warranty. It looks like HD is a goner.

Flo what they mean is to disconnect and reconnect the power and data line to the hard drive as it may not be getting a good connection.
Also as I stated above did you reload your OS?

Flo are you still having problems with your issue?
It has been 17 days since your last response and I was wondering if the issue has been resolved?
If so can you explain how it was resolved so others may be able to fix it if they have the same issue.
If not please let us know and we can continue with helping you to resolve the issue.
