just got a new computer w/ windows 7 on it
all my work is still on my old computer with XP

my question is this
can i just take the harddrive from the old computer, put it on slave, and add it to the extra slot i have in my windows 7?
on the old computer i have an extra harddrive, but no OS on it
so would the XP be ok to leave on this harddrive?
I need the programs and files from the XP
thanks in advance for any help

You can put the hard drive in but you can't use any programs on the XP drive.
