I'm experiencing a problem with a game Left For Dead 2

I connect to any of the L4d2 Demo server's (full game isn't out yet just demo) I can play for a ruff 10seconds, then it times out to the server.
This is an ongoing problem

I don't experience this problem with any other game except this one.
I've tried port forwarding all ports that l4d2 use
I've reset the router

I'm using a Thomson TG782T, provided by telstra (There's the problem :))
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate x64

I current have two lines, with two different ISP's and don't experience the problems with Iinet, just Telstra.

I've contacted the Steam support, and they've just given me some basic routine checks to do. None of witch have fixed the problem and i can tell the next response from them is going to be more generic.

Can anyone give me some ideas i can try to fix the problem with?
