outlook address from xp wont open in win7 upgrade

i upgraded from xp to win 7. i backed up with a clickfree ext hd and i've restored my address folder etc, i can see it and the folders from out look but when i try to open them it says it cant open a wab.exe. i tried importing the address book and it said it did and to look in my win contacts, but theres nothing there.
