Ok experts, please help me out here. I followed the forum rules and regulations and ended up here with this log from the HijackThis software.

But before that, about a week ago, there is this pop up at the bottom right corner from AVG antivirus.

The pop up is a grey rectangle box with the following words on it
"AVG E-mail Scanner
AutoPOP3: Connecting to ip51cc230e. adsl-surfen.hetnet.nl
"

Then it appears from time to time whenever I am logged onto the Internet. It appears randomly regardless of what I am doing.

That's why I asked a friend and he suggested this website. The following are the log that was created after I followed the forum's instruction. Btw, I didn't do anything after the log is created and also didn't fix anything at all since I'm no expert in this stuff.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh Hijack This log.
