hello please help
my laptop toshiba satellite 1905-s277, was hanging and try repair with a winxp home CD several files could not be copied i continued, same problems then i upgraded to xp pro sp3 and same many files could not be copied i continued w/o them no it still hangs now i call toshiba, it's out of warranty and they said it need recovery disk but that is $25, i want to sell it but i do not want to spend another $25 as i can not get more than 125$..
please help, is there a command like vista to restore to factory conditions, i do not care for files or programs..

IF your Toshiba has recovery partition...

Hold down the 0 (zero) key and turn the laptop on. Keep holding down the zero key until the TOSHIBA logo appears, where you should start tapping the zero key repeatedly. Stop if the unit beeps or when the TOSHIBA logo disappears. The screen should flash ** HDD RECOVERY MODE ** for a split second, then load the Toshiba recovery program right from the hard drive.
