GeekU = Geek University

It is a training in malware removal that we offer. Its what you would expect from any school, you read and learn a lot of things, then have to do exercises.

for the most part it is self paced learning through reading, research, etc... however you do work with real teachers through out the exercises. Yes you have to complete the training to gain the title of staff, and help people. If you already know your going to quit halfway through, there is no need to waste your time, or the teachers time.

There is no "fixed time" for the training. It is long though, its not something you can fly through at all. It requires a lot of hard work.

I've seen people take 4 months, 8 months, a year, to finish the training

That is what that means, yes. We do not offer support to people who use illegal software. Why, then, would we want our trainees and/or staff to use them?

Let's make this very simple and clear. We do not condone the use of illegal software, and we will not offer support for any illegal software. We recommend the removal of any P2P programs, and cracks and keygens are both illegal and a good way to get infected. If you're not willing to abide by our TOU, then you are not a good candidate for GeekU, as you are expected to uphold and enforce all the rules of the site. Is that clear enough?

Then we go without. I personally do not use, and have never used, illegal software, music, games or movies. I work for a living, and pay for the things I use. That's the way it's supposed to be.
