Hi im having this annoying problem with online gaming and i know this isn't a computer problem since the problem started on my old computer and the exact same problem remains on this new one. Lag never existed in games before about 1 month ago. I have these sick annoying lags anyway! all the time when i play online games. 3-4 seconds where things just pretty much stop. And when the lag breaks everything that happend those seconds is showed in superspeed to keep up with the real game. This is a network/router/broadband problem. And i don't know alot about those things (neither do my mum). Anyway im on a ADSL broadband 24mbits wich i've tested on the net & the speed is great. Never ever had problems with it before. And when i dl a random file from internet it can go like 2 mb/s. When i play World of warcraft i first have around 152 ms wich is fine and green. But after a while my latency is on 4000-6000 ms! And my character is off the walls in-game people said. This lag problem happend out of nowhere and i think i'll loose it soon because im actully paying money per month to play games and it's not even fun to play when suddenly everything stops for a sec and when it's over you're dead. I haven't found anyone that answered similar questions understandable. Please geeks help this geek!
