Hi!

I have problem. I cant open WIndows media player on my computer. I cant uninstall it either via COntrol panel as its not listed. Moreover...when I try to download another one "over it"...I get an error saying the new one is 11.6 and cant be replaced by the old one 11.5.

SO I was wondering if anyone ccould help me solve this problem. Or inform me why its happening....or give me a link to 11.6 so I can reinstall it. OH and its not listed under my programs too.

SO basically I cant unistall it.

I am on Vista Home Premium....32bit...AMD turion ™ x2 dual core mobile rm 70 2GHz.

ALL help is greatly appreciated.
THANK YOU!

With Vista, you can't uninstall it.
Try this:

Go Start. In "Start search", type in:
cmd
Hold CTRL and SHIFT keys, press ENTER.
At command prompt, type in:
regsvr32 jscript.dll
Press Enter.

Type in:
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
Press Enter.

Restart computer.

Go Start>All Programs>Accessories
Right click on Command Prompt, click Run As Administrator and try both commands again.
