I just had a Dell Dimension's MB go bad. I am currently building my own for the first time. The dell had a 160g sata drive with xp as the os. I am going to build the new computer with a New sata drive that I am gonna put "7" on. Can I use the original drive as a secondary, or slave drive? Will I still be able to get my data from the drive, since the MB craped out, I have some of the stuff backed up but not all? Will the xp being on the drive cause any issues?

Thanks Ed
