Dell 1525 doesn't boot

All,

I have a Dell 1525 that does nothing when I try to boot it up. No lights, no sound. I have a second 1525 and swapped the battery, and the power cord. Still nothing. Any suggestions?

try putting a little up or down or side pressure on the power plug where it goes into the laptop...
do you get any indication that you are now getting power to the computer...
