Hello O exalted Knowledgeable Ones

I have a USB floppy that isn't always detected. It is connected on a hub - always in the same port to not confuse the puter.

I have to reboot without it and then replug it to get the puter to recognise it.

Any ideas appreciated

Thx

Can you not plug it directly into a USB port on the PC?
Not all devices like talking to PCs through hubs and this behaviour with power-sucking devices such as USB floppies to having to unplug and replug for the PC to see it is common, particularly with hubs.

Hi Neil
Just caught up with your post - Yes it was on a hub, but can switch out. Thank you - had to reboot 2-4 times - you've saved a few hairs.

In appreciation
